Tracey Miller

Lecturer Health & Social Care

As a physiotherapist by profession, I worked in a range of roles and settings both privately and across the NHS between 2000 and 2014, specializing in Neurology, specifically Stroke before moving into education at the ¸Û°Äͼ¿â. Initially, as a lecturer in health, I worked with students and mentors to ensure that students on the BSc, HND and FDA Health & Social Care are achieving their degrees and enjoying successful work-based experiences. Currently, I am now working with both the FDA Higher Apprenticeships and the FDA Health & Social Care programmes. My other roles are being link tutor with one of our partners, which allows me the opportunity to network, and maintain quality standards and External Examiner to a North-West university.

Research Interests:
Supporting students from a wide and diverse background with the challenges of higher education concurrently juggling work and family.
