Liam T. Ainscough

Lecturer

Liam has obtained his LL.B, LL.M, LPC, Dip(CPD), and is currently a doctoral candidate. Liam has worked in various legal practice roles at different law firms in England. In addition to this, Liam has worked in business roles for private companies.

Liam won several awards at undergraduate level. One was issued by the Board of Governors at the University for 鈥楬igh Academic Achievement鈥 and the other was issued by the C.I.I for Liam鈥檚 application of Tort Law and his academic grades. Amongst this, Liam has links to the National Speed Mooting Competition as a competitor and a judge.

Liam is an Academic at the 港澳图库; prior to this Liam was a PASS Leader in 2016 鈥 2018 and promoted to Senior PASS Leader in 2018 - 2019. Liam is a lecturer on the undergraduate, Master鈥檚, and SQE programmes. Liam is currently researching sports law and this area is driven by his interest in sport and law.

Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms:
Tort Law; Public Law; Legal History; English Legal System; Sports Law; and Contract Law.

Teaching specialisms:
Tort Law; Public Law; English Legal System; Sports Law; SQE FLK1 and FLK2; Research Skills; and Mooting.

Publications and Research:
鈥 鈥淪ui generis legislation to prevent ambush marketing or a universal Act of Parliament; a premise based on the approach of the 鈥楲ondon 2012 Olympic Games鈥.鈥 (Published in 2021 for LL.M Dissertation).
